At Niche Counseling & Consulting, PLLC we help individuals, couples, and families identify and heal intergenerational patterns and ancestral trauma to achieve a life of freedom.
Kristin Davis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), speaker, consultant, and psychospiritual educator. She works with individuals, couples, families, and organizations to help identify and transform intergenerational and ancestral patterns that hinder growth, intimacy, and liberation. Her work is rooted in systems theory and draws deeply from Intergenerational Family Therapy, Liberation Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology—honoring the complex intersections of identity, belief, culture, and legacy.
Kristin is the creator of The Generational Healing Framework™, a five-stage clinical and psychoeducational model that guides individuals from awareness to embodiment as they break free from inherited relational patterns. She leads The Lumière Society™, a membership-based healing community for Black and Brown women seeking clarity, connection, and recovery from toxic relationships, spiritual manipulation, and identity rupture. She is also the visionary behind Kinaura™ Gatherings—therapeutically grounded, story-centered experiences that draw on ancestral traditions of communal care and emotional restoration.
With over a decade of experience as a university educator, Kristin has designed and facilitated programs in diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellness across academic, nonprofit, and clinical settings. She is a trusted voice for her grounded, deeply relational teaching style and her ability to make complex psychological concepts both accessible and transformative.
As a consultant through Niche Strategy Consulting, Kristin partners with mission-driven organizations, service-based businesses, and nonprofits to build trauma-informed systems, sustainable workflows, and culturally responsive strategies. Her consulting bridges the clinical, communal, and operational—offering clients not just structure, but soul.
Kristin is also an Ancestral Healing Practitioner trained by the Chi Healing Institute, where she studied indigenous frameworks for releasing inherited trauma and realigning with sacred purpose. She is known for creating emotionally safe spaces where high-achieving, spiritually oriented Black and Brown women can reconnect with their truth, reclaim their identities, and recover from relational wounds—including spiritual abuse, narcissistic harm, and eldest daughter burnout.
